Vending That Leaves No One Behind

ATLAS Vending is reimagining accessibility as part of our sustainability journey. Equal access is not optional, it is essential. From Braille-enabled machines to wheelchair-friendly designs, we are making everyday convenience inclusive for all.

Braille Vending Machine

For the blind and visually impaired, navigating public amenities is often a challenge when self-service technology overlooks accessibility. ATLAS addressed this by designing Braille-enabled machines with:

  • Braille plates and indicator lights for clear navigation
  • Motion-sensor audio instructions that guide users step by step

Developed and tested with MAB’s Access Team, these features ensure real user needs are met, empowering visually impaired individuals while remaining convenient for everyone.

Wheelchair-Friendly Machine

Most vending machines are designed for standing users, leaving wheelchair users excluded. ATLAS re-engineered its machines to meet universal design standards, with:

  • Lowered display height and angled interface for comfortable reach
  • Easy-access dispensers for smooth retrieval
  • Ideal deployment in hospitals, schools, offices, and public spaces

By making accessibility a core design principle, ATLAS ensures vending works for everyone, not just some.
